Skills and Playbooks
A Skill is a reusable procedure written as a SKILL.md file, with optional supporting text files. A
Playbook is a repeatable task you can run again with the same steps. Both live in the Library.

Creating and versioning a Skill
Section titled “Creating and versioning a Skill”- Create or import. Write a Skill in the Library editor, or import Markdown or a ZIP. Imports open in a read-only compatibility preview first.
- Save a draft. Drafts can be edited freely and don’t affect chats.
- Activate. Activation makes an immutable version available to chats. Earlier versions can be loaded back into the editor.
Imports are checked strictly. Unsafe paths, symlinks, and oversized packages are refused. Scripts stay as text and are never run.
Using Skills in a chat
Section titled “Using Skills in a chat”- Pick them: Skills in the composer selects up to six activated Skills for the next run.
- Let them route: with Auto Skills on (the default), the composer suggests Skills whose routing phrases match your message.

/for suggestions, or start a message with/skill-name.
